It’s Release Day! Welcome This Life Of Mine!

When I tell you how beyond excited I am and how emotional I am… I know those two things might seem like opposites, but they are both two different highs for me. LOL! The EMOTIONS ARE REAL *send tissues*. The fact that this book has finally made it into the light fills me with so much joy and excitement and also just AWE at what God was able to accomplish.

It was a long row to hoe with lots of setbacks, but somehow, we still made it.

In just a little over a year,

✨I started outlining and brainstorming in February of 2022.

✨Started drafting in April, while still in the publishing process for Once I Knew.

✨Drafted on and off all summer, with a big “come to Jesus meeting” in July while on a personal retreat by myself and experiencing some heavy burnout from publishing month. I rewrote the rest of the outline at that point and after some rest, was ready to get started again.

✨Had lots of on and off pushes and starts and stops throughout the next few months as I struggled under the weight of the intensity of the drafting process, as well as lots of work (building two businesses at once is A LOT YO).

✨Buckled down for Nano in November and CRUISED through the ending and dove straight into edits.

✨The draft after some polishing and self-edits, hit Beta readers in December and we paved our way through another round of edits while trying to also finish the cover and start the big marketing push all leading up to…

✨Some pretty hefty schedule setbacks, but finally started Line edits with my editor, Micaiah mid January! I tried to keep up with those as much as possible while hosting the cover reveal, ordering all the preorder goodies *my wallet still hasn’t recovered* and Door Dashing three days a week to make ends meet.

✨February saw the line edits complete, and rushed it off to my fabulous Copy editor, Abigayle Claire! She was DEAR to work on it so quickly for me and we both pounded out the midnight oil on multiple occasions to get it finished and polished to as close to perfection as humanely possible.

✨The beginning of March (this month) I was JUST stating to format and it took about a week of solid work to get the files all completed and uploaded to the proper sites!

✨HUZZAH, the last few weeks have been JAM PACKED with more than full time work just getting this book off the ground and today,

We finally get to celebrate!!!
